The synthetic surgical adhesive Glubran® 2 is a CE-marked Class III medical device indicated for internal and external use.

Glubran® 2 is a synthetic, biodegradable, cyanoacrylate-based adhesive, modified by the addition of a monomer synthesized by the manufacturer GEM.

Glubran® 2 is ready to use. It features strong adhesive and hemostatic properties and, upon polymerization, forms an effective antiseptic barrier against the most common infectious or pathogenic agents encountered during surgical procedures.

When in contact with living tissue and moist environments, Glubran® 2 rapidly polymerizes, forming a thin and elastic film with high tensile strength, ensuring strong adhesion to tissues.
This film naturally adapts to the applied tissues; it is impermeable to liquids and is not altered by blood or organic fluids.
